Whimsical Nut Tray With A Bear Handle, Green Ceramic Leaf Tray

I enjoyed sculpting this little bear for my 5 leaf tray. I hope you enjoy it as well.

My trays can be used to serve food in the kitchen, put hair items in it for the bathroom or jewelry in it for the bedroom and more.

Food Safe

I rolled out stoneware clay into a silicon leaf mould and made 5 leaves and glued it together with clay slip. Then I sculpted this bear and attached him to the center for a handle. I hand-painted the bear with underglaze.

When the tray dried to bone-dry, I fired it in my electric kiln to bisqueware to about 2300 degrees.
I glazed the leaves with green and put a clear glaze on the bear and high-fired in the kiln.
