I turned this bowl without a bottom on my pottery wheel and set it aside to firm up. I then cut out sections of the bottom and top and form the edges to create this boat shape bowl. I cut out a slab of clay for the base and fix it on my bowl. I put on these decal blue wildflowers around this bowl. I slowly dry my pottery on my plastic-wrapped shelf to bone dry. Then I bisque fire it in my kiln. I dip this bowl in clear food-safe glaze and fire it again in my bowl.
