Rusty Red Soap Dish – One Triangle Ring Dish, Ceramic Dish

THIS IS A STOCK PHOTO. Each dish is handmade. All my dishes may have slightly different shapes.

On my plaster bat, I turned a plate upside down with the round foot in the center. I cut it off the bat with a wiggle wire, creating the wavy grooves then set it aside to firm up. I then cut it into this triangle. I set it on my drying shelf for a few weeks until it was bone dry. I fired it in my electric kiln along with many other pieces of pottery.

I either brush 3 coats of glaze (colour) or dip my pottery into the glaze to create many wonderful colours on my pottery. I fire my pottery in my electric kiln to about 2900 degrees.
