On a cold day enjoy a bowl of hot rice, noodles or a cold salad on a hot day in one of my handmade wheel-turned bowls.

3″ (7.5 cm) high

My bowls are turned on my wheel, therefore, the bowls are not precisely the same size and shape as store-bought bowls. That way you know they are made by hand with love.
COLOUR – Dark Jade Green, Bluish-Green on the top inch or so.
The colour may vary depending on the computer monitors.
Dishwasher and food-safe.
I turned my bowls from stoneware clay on my potter’s wheel. I then set them aside until they are firmed up to leather clay hard, which normally takes a day. I then trimmed the bottom flat.
I let it sit under plastic to dry the stoneware clay bowl to bone dry clay slowly. I then fired it in my low-temperature kiln to about 2300 degrees.
These bowls have 2 colours of glaze on them. First I painted three coats of the mustard yellow glaze in rings around the inside and outside of my bowls on then I painted 3 coats of the brown glaze in the blank rings, making sure I overlapped the glazes. I am not intentionally precise in my painting as I want a very casual look of stripes going around the inside and outside of the bowls. Along with a full kiln of pottery, these bowls are fired at a temperature of about 2900.
