Mushroom Mug, 8 Ounce Mugs

Description

I added mushrooms around these mugs and then put a moss green under them because mushrooms like to grow in damp ground.

SIZE -Approximate- 3″ (7.5 cm) high and the
2 3/4″ – 3″ (7.5 cm) across the top rim.
Capacity of about 7 – 8 oz

COLOUR- Off White with Black Mushrooms planted in Moss Green

Microwave and Dishwasher safe.

PLEASE NOTE: THESE ARE STOCK PHOTOS. The glaze randomly runs down the mug and each mug is turned on a potter’s wheel, therefore the colour and share vary for each mug. That is how you know they are handmade and not from a factory.

My pottery is either turned on my potter’s wheel or formed by hand. Although I try to make each mug the same there are slight differences in shape and size.

Ready to ship. I wrap my pottery in bubble wrap, then I pack it tightly in the box surrounding it with Styrofoam peanuts. If possible, I use recyclable packing material to save them from going into the landfill.

HOW I MAKE MY PIECES
I turn cups on the potter’s wheel and set them aside for a day to firm up. The following day I trimmed the bottom, then add the handle. When they are bone dry, they are fired (baked) in an electric kiln for several hours. I either paint 3 coats or dip them in ceramic glaze and fire them to about 2900 degrees.
