HOW I MAKE MY PIECES
I turned this bowl from stoneware clay on my potter’s wheel. I then set it aside until it firmed up to a leather clay hard, which normally takes a day. I then turned the foot on the bottom.
I let it sit under plastic to slowly dry the stoneware clay bowl to a bone-dry clay, with blue and green ceramic underglaze around the outside of the bowl. I then fired it in my low-temperature kiln to about 2300 degrees.

I painted clear glaze on it the along with a full kiln of pottery this bowl was fired at a temperature of about 2900 allowing the glazes to run and blend into this beautiful creation.
