I turned this bowl from a mix of black and white stoneware clay on my potter’s wheel. I then set it aside until it firmed up to leather clay hard, which normally takes a day. I then trimmed the bottom flat.
I let it sit under plastic to slowly dry bone-dry clay. I then fired it in my low-temperature kiln to about 2300 degrees.
I dip it in a clear glaze then fire it in my kiln.
