Flower Vase – Black Vase With Mushrooms & Trees -Decorative Vase

My handmade ceramic vase will be a lovely centre-piece with your favourite flowers on your dining table.

*One mushroom fell off as I took it out of the kiln. I glued it back on with epoxy which is very secure. One corner isn’t flush to the vase. I do not accept returns for these blemishes I have described.

I turned the black clay on my pottery wheel into this vase. I trimmed the bottom. I carved out the trees and put my pre-made mushrooms around the base. I put it on my drying shelf for a while. When it is bone dries I fired it in my electric kiln at about 2300 degrees.

I painted green overglaze on the carved area. I wiped off the glaze leaving it in the grooves to reveal the trees. I dipped it in a clear glaze and fired it in my Ikiln at about 2900 degrees.

Ready to ship. I wrap my pottery in bubble wrap, then I pack it tightly in the box surrounding it with Styrofoam peanuts. If possible I use recyclable packing material to save them from going into the landfill.
