On a cold day enjoy a bowl of hot rice, noodles or a cold salad on a hot day in one of my handmade wheel-turned bowls.

3.5″ (9 cm) high
1 1/2 – 13/4 cup capacity
My bowls are turned on my wheel, therefore, the bowls are not exactly the same size and shape as store-bought bowls. That way you know they are made by hand with love.
COLOUR – OUTSIDE -Yellow, Green and Light Blue dabbled, variegated. (Yellow is a bit bumpy, but won’t affect this use)
INSIDE – Dark Green/Brown
Computer, tablet, and phone screens may cause the colour to look slightly different than what it is. See the colour description above.
Dishwasher and food-safe.
I turned my bowls from stoneware clay on my potter’s wheel. With underglaze colours, I blotted on the colours. I then set them aside until they are firmed up to leather clay hard, which normally takes a day. I then trimmed the bottom flat.
I let it sit under plastic to slowly dry the stoneware clay bowl to bone-dry clay. I then fired it in my low-temperature kiln to about 2300 degrees.
I dipped it in my food-safe clear glaze and along with a full kiln of pottery, these bowls are fired at a temperature of about 2900.
