Coffee Cup, Houses Hand Painted on Ceramic Cup

Enjoy a cup of coffee painted with row houses.

SIZE -Approximate- 4.25 – 4.5″ (11 cm) high and the
3 1/2″ (9 cm) across the top rim.
Capacity of about 10 oz

COLOUR- White Mug with colourful Houses painted around the bottom.

Microwave and Dishwasher safe.

My pottery is either turned on my potter’s wheel or formed by hand. Although I try to make each mug the same there are slight differences in shape and size.

Ready to ship. I wrap my pottery in bubble wrap, then pack it tightly in the box surrounding it with Styrofoam peanuts. If possible, I use recyclable packing material to save them from going into the landfill.

HOW I MAKE MY PIECES
I turn cups on the potter’s wheel and set them aside for a day to firm up. The following day I trimmed the bottom, then added the handle. I painted the houses with underglaze paint. When they are bone dry, they are fired (baked) in an electric kiln for several hours. I either paint 3 coats or dip them in ceramic glaze and fire it in the kiln.
