HOW I MAKE IT — I rolled out brown speckled stoneware clay then cut out the shape. Once it firms up I stand it up and press the back seam together. The bottom is put on. With coloured clay, I cut out maple leaves and attached them to this pitcher. Once my pottery is bone dry they are fired (cooked) in an electric kiln for several hours.
A food-safe clear glaze is applied and then fired in my electric kiln to 2900 degrees.
For a bathroom set pair it up with my toothbrush holders and soap dishes.
