Place a few flowers in it with an oasis, not included, to decorate your tabletop. It is short enough and won’t block your view of the person across the table from you. Makes a great sugar bowl or a jam or honey dish.
SIZE – Approximate — 3″ x 3 1/2″

HOW I MAKE MY VASES
I turned this vase on my pottery wheel. Once it is firm I trim the bottom. It is put on my drying shelf to dry slowly. Once it is bone dry I fired it in my electric kiln at about 2300 degrees. I dip it in clear glaze and then fired it in my kiln at about 2900 degrees.
Using China or porcelain paint I hand-painted these Scottish thistles on it. It was then fired in a low-fired kiln that melted or fused the China paint of the thistles into the clear glaze. I paint a second coat which gave the thistles more detail and low-fired it again.
Ready to ship. I wrap my pottery in bubble wrap, then I pack it tightly in the box surrounding it with Styrofoam peanuts. If possible I use recyclable packing material to save them from going into the landfill.
