Do you ever have a great idea to do something, then totally forget what it was? I have that problem too.

As I go about my day ideas of what I can create with clay pop into my head. When I go to make pottery my mind goes blank as to what I could make. I solved the problem by drawing my ideas in a sketch. Now all I have to do it flip through my sketchbook and make what I have drawn.

I had an idea to make a vase out of black clay, cover it in white clay slip then carve roses around it. I sketched it out. While browsing through my sketches I saw it and made it.
